Evoluent VerticalMouse 4 Wireless has been designed to avoid the forearm twisting associated with standard mouse use. The patented shape supports your hand in an upright neutral posture that offers greater comfort and is better for your health and productivity. Many users, including medical doctors, ergonomists and physical therapists, said Evoluent VerticalMouse provides superior comfort and even relieved their wrist pain.
The mouse shape is thoughtfully sculpted for uncompromised comfort and efficient usability. The buttons are all located within easy reach ensuring no awkward and strenuous movements are needed for operation. The thumb rest has been reshaped to provide enhanced comfort over prior versions and an extra wide lip runs along the bottom edge of the mouse to prevent your last finger from rubbing on the desk.
A great deal of functionality is provided, with six programmable buttons and a DPI-button to adjust the pointer speed. The easy-to-reach button sits behind the scroll-wheel and enables quick changing of the pointer speed to suit different tasks. A high DPI value is good for quickly moving across the screen, like with general tasks. A low DPI value is good for precision work such as photo editing or drawing. In total, there are four different DPI-values available which are 800, 1300, 1800 and 2600. The current DPI setting is conveniently indicated via one of four lights.
There is free Evoluent Mouse Manager software available for the mouse, allowing you to gain maximum benefit and program the buttons to suit the varying tasks you perform. Buttons which are perfectly tuned to your needs, are guaranteed to make your mouse work more efficiently.
