Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 Product Details
Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 is an ergonomic split keyboard with a curved keyboard laid out on a concave surface. The curvature of the keyboard follows the natural ark of your fingertips, providing a more natural way of typing. The concave shape helps prevent wrist pronation which optimises mobility and the keyboard can be angled away from you to further protect against injury and strain. A built-in, cushioned palm rest provides a place to rest your wrists in-between tasking.
The keyboard has been enhanced with a number of features to your keyboard experience. Hotkeys provide quick, customizable ways to reach files, folders, and web pages and a zoom slider allows you to zoom in and out for detailed work.
If you spend a large amount of your day using a computer you will invariably use a keyboard to fulfil your duties. Prolonged typing work can be strenuous and lead to discomfort and injury if an ergonomic keyboard is not utilised. Ergonomic split keyboards are designed to adapt to the natural posture of your hands, arms and shoulders so you can work with good posture. The keyboard is split down the middle and in some instances is concaved or can be angled to achieve the best possible ergonomic position.
The split and angled design avoids wrist pronation and twisting of the hands in order to align with the keyboard. Keys typically offer low-impact typing and layouts are optimised with function keys positioned for efficiency and minimal movement. These ergonomic features allow you to focus and work more productively, protected from strain.
