Disability Impact Training Product Details

Disability Impact Training is a one-to-one service designed to support individuals who are adjusting to life with a disability, particular in the workplace. It’s especially valuable for individuals who have recently been diagnosed or for those managing chronic or fluctuating illnesses.

Many individuals worry about how their diagnosis may affect their lifestyle, wellbeing and how other may perceive them. Disability Impact Training addresses these concerns directly, helping individuals to challenge beliefs, misconceptions and stigma and helps to build strong foundations for future personal and professional growth.

By developing a deeper understanding of a particular condition and its impact, individuals become better equipped to create and apply effective strategies to support themselves at work. This promotes a more positive mindset and helps to breakdown workplace challenges and barriers.

Training sessions are personalised and fully tailored to the individual’s needs and goals. It may incorporate elements of mindfulness, cognitive behavioural approaches, techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, goal planning and solution-focusses practices.

Delivery Information

For all delivery-only stock orders, we aim to deliver the goods within the timeframe outlined on the product page. Not all products shown on the website are held in stock or can be sent via courier ie desktops and therefore the delivery time of these goods may vary. We will keep you updated regularly with estimated delivery times for these goods.

BOXED DELIVERY CHARGES

Delivery charges below are for UK mainland-only orders. For all other destinations please contact us for a quote or proceed to the checkout and enter your delivery information.

Accessories ordered on their own are charged at £5 + VAT per delivery - this offer is only available for internet orders. All orders including a boxed chair or desk (No Setup) are charged at £15 + VAT per order

The personal delivery and setup charges below are for deliveries to Mainland UK only.

Chair:  £65
Desk:  £65

If you order a Chair and a Desk together then only one £65 charge will apply.

RETURNS

We offer a two-week trial period on the majority of products (exclusions do apply ie Software, Headsets etc) which starts from the day you receive your item(s). If you wish to return an item then simply email us at office@backcs.co.uk so we can provide a returns note and number. Upon receipt of the returned items, we will issue a full refund excluding any outward delivery charges. Please contact us if you are unsure whether your item will be available during this two-week return period.

Goods and packaging must be in their original condition and returned within business hours, carriage paid with the returns note enclosed.

If you are returning an item due to a fault or damage then please contact us and we will arrange for the collection of the item(s).
