WHAT INFORMATION IS OBTAINED ABOUT YOU

Contact Form

We Collect - Name, email, phone number and order number (if appropriate).

New Customer Account Form

We Collect - Name, email, phone number, date of birth and gender.

Checkout Form

We Collect - Name, email, phone number, address and IP address.

Newsletter Sign-up

We Collect - Name, email, business name.

POSE™ Form

We Collect - Name, email, phone number, address, weight, height, age, gender, user work routines, user environment, user measurements and user areas of pain.

HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION

We use your information on a contract and legitimate interest basis for the following purposes:

When Fulfilling An Order

When processing an order we use your registration details to fulfil the initial part of the shopping cart process. Your payment information, inclusive of credit card details, are entered in the final part of the shopping cart process and as such are not held or processed by us. For that, we use Stripe and Paypal who are trusted, financial specialists. We would recommend you also read their privacy policies.

When Recommending Products

The detail you provide via the POSE™ form allows us to make informed recommendations about products so we can best suit your needs.

Assessments

When completing assessments, the data captured enables us to make accurate and user-specific recommendations.

When Sending Communications

For those that have opted-in, we periodically send out details of products, services, promotions and special offers via email.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION

We do not share your information with any third parties. However, we do need to share some data for our shopping cart to function and to deliver your order.

UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION

If you wish to update your information you can log in to your account and make basic amendments via the control panel. For more detailed amendments, data downloads and complete erasure of your details please contact us at team@backcs.co.uk.

KEEPING YOUR DATA SECURE

We take every precaution to keep your data secure. Any sensitive information such as credit card information is processed via a secure shopping cart. Non-sensitive information, such as email addresses, are also kept secure as our whole website functions under an SSL certificate meaning all data is encrypted.

MAKING A SUBJECT ACCESS REQUEST (SAR)

If you wish to submit a SAR, please send an email to office@backcs.co.uk titled 'SUBJECT ACCESS REQUEST' along with the information you wish to receive and proof of identity. This is required before any data can be released. Upon receipt of verification the information shall be sent to the requestee within one month.

HOW LONG IS DATA KEPT

We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed. The information we use for marketing purposes will be kept on file until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

Because our website contains links to websites run by other organisations we encourage you to read their privacy policies as this one covers our website only. In addition, if you linked to our website from a third party site we cannot be responsible for the privacy policies of that site and recommend you check their privacy policy.
