What Is Neurodiversity?

Neurodiversity is the natural variation in how people think, process information, and experience the world. It includes conditions such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and sensory processing differences, among others. Recognising neurodiversity means understanding that different brains bring unique strengths, perspectives, and ways of working, each of which can add value when supported effectively.

Why Does Neurodiversity Matter?

Inclusive workplaces and learning environments are more than just policies; they are practical spaces that allow everyone to thrive. Neurodiverse individuals may experience challenges with focus, sensory input, or communication, which can affect comfort, productivity, and wellbeing. By providing targeted support and training, organisations empower all team members, improve engagement, and create environments that value every way of thinking.

What Neurodiversity Support & Training Services Are Available?

Our neurodiversity support and training combines expert guidance with practical solutions to meet the needs of both individuals and organisations, including:

Workplace Strategy Coaching – Helps employees with hidden disabilities take charge of their working lives. This coaching will help build a personalised toolkit of strategies and support mechanisms to help overcome difficulties and minimise the impact of their condition or disability in the workplace.

Workplace Needs Assessment – Provide an in-depth analysis of the workstation set-up and the general workplace to ensure employees can work productively, safely and are well-supported to overcome any issues.

Visual Impairment Assessment – The Visual Impairment Workplace Assessment will identify the challenges staff may be experiencing and guide how to overcome them.

Hearing Impairment Assessment – Hearing Loss Workplace Assessment will identify the challenges staff may be experiencing and provide recommendations, so staff will feel valued and able to work at their best.

Assistive Technology Assessment – Personalised evaluation designed to identify the most effective tools, software, or devices to support an individual’s unique learning, working, or communication needs. It’s ideal for neurodivergent individuals or those with disabilities who face barriers related to reading, writing, organisation, memory, sensory processing, physical access, or communication.

Full Day Awareness Training – Designed to help businesses unlock greater understanding and inclusivity in the workplace. Designed to address a range of conditions, including neurodiversity and long-term health, Disability Awareness Training helps organisations create supportive, informed environments.

Dyslexia Desk Assessment – Provides a structured, informal evaluation designed to explore how dyslexia may be impacting an individual’s learning, work, or daily functioning. Unlike a full diagnostic assessment, this desk-based review focuses on practical needs and tailored support, providing immediate insights and actionable recommendations.

ADHD & AuDUD Coaching – ADHD & AuDHD coaching focuses on soft skills, which may include motivation, focus and attention, managing sensory overwhelm, dealing with perceived rejection, and more. These sessions will also look at the impact ADHD may have on the person in work, and in other areas of life that may have a knock-on effect, such as sleep, travel, and the draining of a social battery.

Disability Impact Training – Helps a person come to terms with their disability and how it affects both their personal life and their work.

Assistive Software Technical Training – Enables individuals to gain confidence in using Assistive Software tools to their full potential. Training is tailored to cover the software’s basic functionality to more advanced proficiencies.
