ISO Certification

Back Care Solutions has been granted ISO certification ISO14001:2015, ISO27001:2017 and ISO9001:2015. ISO certification is a seal of approval from a third-party body that a company has achieved one of the international standards developed and published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The ISO are an independent, non-governmental international organisation that brings together experts to share knowledge and develop international standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.

Back Care Solutions has been granted ISO certification in the following areas:

ISO 14001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). It provides a framework that an organisation can follow, rather than establishing environmental performance requirements.

ISO 27001:2022 is an international standard that provides a framework for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). It helps organisations establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve their ability to manage and protect sensitive information.

ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organisation:

a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and

b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

All the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 are generic and are intended to be applicable to any organisation, regardless of its type or size, or the products and services it provides.

Back Care Solutions are Cyber Essentials accredited, which means we take the cybersecurity of our customers and ourselves very seriously.

Cyber Essentials accreditation is a Government-backed and industry-supported scheme that helps businesses protect themselves and their customers against the growing threat of cyber-attacks. Cyber Essentials provides clear guidance on the basic cybersecurity controls that organisations of all sizes should have in place and offers a solid foundation upon which to build a comprehensive cyber security defence.

It’s a mandatory requirement for organisations that want to bid for central government and MOD contracts that deal with the handling of personal information and the provision of certain technology-related products and services.
