Ergonomic chairs offer incredible value to both users and employers and so it makes sense to keep them working as the manufacturer intended. Our chair service has been developed as a great solution to ensure longevity, optimal performance and ultimately a way of avoiding unnecessary spending. The chair service helps to extend the life of the chair beyond the manufacturer warranty and keep it in good working order following the end of any guarantee period.

Key components of our chair service include:

  • Identification of the chair including age and specification
  • Checking all features and components are consistent with the intended specification and in good working condition
  • Option to re-cover the chair fabric
  • Recommendations with a quotation for any substantial repairs

Most ergonomic chair manufacturers offer a warranty period between 2 and 10 years. Warranties cover defective parts within a specified period and so it is worth ensuring that these assets are checked at regular intervals to take advantage of the warranty.

Manufacturers’ warranties are typically on a ‘return to factory basis’ and parts are covered for fair wear and tear. As approved dealers, we can complete the service/repair on-site to avoid possible transport damage and to return the chair to use as quickly as possible. Any parts not covered by warranty will be quoted for in advance of the work.

Delivery Information

For all delivery only stock orders, we aim to deliver the goods within the timeframe outlined within the product page. Not all products shown on the website are held in stock or can be sent via courier ie desktops and therefore the delivery time of these goods may vary. We will keep you updated regularly with estimated delivery times on these goods.

BOXED DELIVERY CHARGES

Delivery charges below are for UK mainland only orders. For all other destinations please contact us for a quote or proceed to the checkout and enter your delivery information.

Accessories ordered on their own are charged at £5 + VAT per delivery - this offer is only available for internet orders. All orders including a boxed chair or desk (No Setup) are charged at £15 + VAT per order

The personal delivery and setup charges below are for deliveries to Mainland UK only.

Chair:  £60
Desk:  £60

If you order a Chair and a Desk together then only one £60 charge will apply.

RETURNS

We offer a two week trial period on the majority of products (exclusions do apply ie Software, Headsets etc) which starts from the day you receive your item(s). If you wish to return an item then simply email us at office@backcs.co.uk so we can provide a returns note and number. Upon receipt of the returned items we will issue a full refund excluding any outward delivery charges. Please contact us if you are unsure whether your item would be available on this two weeks return period.

Goods and packaging must be in their original condition and returned within business hours, carriage paid with the returns note enclosed.

If you are returning an item due to a fault or damage then please contact us and we will arrange for the collection of the item(s).
