DSE is a very important part of professional life that affects not just wellbeing, but ultimately how well a business can perform. Our course has been designed to provide a greater understanding of DSE regulations so attendees can then assess others to ensure workstations are compliant and safe to use
Our DSE course is well-suited for professionals working in areas such as health & safety and occupational health, or for anyone involved in DSE assessments. People who complete the course will be able to carry out assessments that ensure workstations are not just DSE compliant, but also safe and optimal to use.
There are numerous health conditions associated with using display screen equipment (DSE) for sustained periods of time without a suitable setup. We train people to become DSE assessors so they can identify workstation issues within their own organisation. Having internal DSE assessors on hand is an efficient and cost-effective way not only of meeting health and safety requirements but of keeping everyone comfortable, productive and injury-free. The course is equally appropriate for professionals who wish to provide a DSE assessment service as an external consultant.
During the course, our trainers will discuss DSE regulations, common musculoskeletal disorders, common workstation problems and possible solutions. Course attendees will be provided with the information they need to be able to complete standard DSE assessments in line with regulations.
For the course, our trainers typically provide a range of physical products as best practice example ergonomic products. This helps attendees gain a feel for which products are considered to be appropriate and of good quality and gain a better understanding of their benefits.
If you require one of our ergonomic chairs and are unsure which model and features you require then please complete our POSE Form below.
