Homeworker Telephone DSE Workstation Assessment

Product Code: BCS001-ADSE-HTEL
£60.00ex. VAT

In the current Covid-19 climate and the lasting effects that will have on the way we all work, one of our Homeworker Telephone DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessments will ensure people have the correct equipment in place to prevent work-related discomfort occurring and enable management of existing conditions in a potentially new working environment. Typically, working from home poses greater risks than working in an office as homes are not usually equipped with designated workstations and Display Screen Equipment. Most people will use their dining room table or sofa which significantly affects posture and the likelihood of gaining work-related injuries. Our Homeworker DSE assessment will identify any risks and provide reliable and accurate recommendations to be implemented to minimise and remove these risks.

Our Homeworker Telephone DSE Workstation Assessment is designed to provide the same level of in-depth advice and recommendations as our face to face Homeworker DSE assessments but with quicker lead times and adherence to social distancing guidelines during Covid-19. The content of the assessment is tailored to home working and the musculoskeletal risks associated with working from home.

Why would you need a Homeworker telephone DSE workstation assessment?

Working from home is seen as a luxury and great way of keeping staff enthusiastic, engaged and happy. However, if steps are not taken to ensure that the equipment and environment at home is suitable for the tasks at hand, then pain and discomfort can result and suddenly working from home can turn into a daily struggle. If you or your staff find yourselves suddenly working from home for the short or long term then one of our Homeworker telephone DSE assessments will quickly provide you with advice and recommendations to create a homeworking setup adapted to you. The assessment will assist with both prevention of conditions from home working and help to manage any existing conditions that may be aggravated from a change in working environment.

What happens before, during and after my Homeworker Telephone DSE assessment?

Once your Homeworker Telephone DSE assessment is ordered, we will send you a form to complete which captures your measurements, height, weight and any areas of discomfort and pain if applicable. This provides us with a bit of background prior to the assessment. We will also request images of your homeworking setup to give us a visual representation of your working environment and the equipment in place. Once these have been received we will book a date and time for the assessment which is convenient for you.

On the day of the assessment we will phone you to discuss your situation in greater depth and analyse your home setup - considering one aspect at a time to uncover any risks or improvements to be made.

Following the Homeworker telephone DSE assessment, we shall provide a full report outlining any advice and recommendations to be considered for implementation. If applicable, a quote shall also be provided for any product recommendations.
