HandShoe Mouse has been developed by a Dutch medical university and has a unique patented design that holds your hand in a neutral position, protecting you against Repetitive Starin Injury (RSI) and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS). The special saddle shape fits your hand like a glove and allows your hand and wrist to float as you work, with no skin friction on the desktop.
HandShoe Mouse Product Details
HandShoe Mouse is an ergonomic mouse that shows an evolution from standard and vertical mice. The design helps safeguard against Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and RSI with a unique and patented shape that fully supports your hand in the ideal 25° relaxed position. This prevents gripping and pinching and stress of the interosseous membrane which can occur when using standard or vertical mice.
The saddle nature of the mouse offers full hand and finger support preventing skin contact with your desktop. Using most mice requires pressing down on the desktop, working from the wrist and rubbing over the desk while sliding. All these actions are a source of complaints, which HandShoe helps to avoid.
Standard mice require you to hover your fingers over the function buttons. This is not the case with HandShoe, as only minor effort is required to switch while your thumb rests on its support with 2 buttons and a scroll-wheel positioned ergonomically. This prevents thumb action which can otherwise be harmful.
Three sizes are available, offering ambidextrous design and wired or wireless connectivity. The mouse is also compatible with all operating systems ensuring it can make an immediate and positive impact on your existing workstation.
The chances are you are spending a vast amount of time at work and at home using a computer for tasking and recreation. This invariably means using some form of mouse or touchpad to fulfil your duties. Over time, the focussed and repetitive movements of mouse work can lead to musculoskeletal disorders and affect your performance. This makes the mouse an incredibly important part of your workstation.
Ergonomic mice are quite diverse and one that is correctly specified will not only meet your physical needs, but also help you to optimise your workspace. The mouse should safeguard you from the risk of pain and injury and also allow you to work efficiently and accurately.
Ergonomic mice can help with conditions like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Repetitive Strain Injury and Arthritis.
