Our mobility chair assessment is designed to provide a seating aid to individuals with more severe disabilities that require assistance with their daily lives - whether at home, work or outdoor life. At the mobility assessment we bring either a powered or manual mobility chair with us depending on the disability and user requirements. This enables us to assess the suitability of our mobility chairs and any additional features which may required. The assessment will identify any postural requirements, assistive requirements and identify any environmental considerations to determine the exact mobility chair specification suited. 

Why would we need a Mobility Chair Assessment?

If you have an ongoing disability which affects your daily life due to mobility issues then our mobility chair assessment will provide advice and recommendations on solutions to assist you. We have a wide range of powered and manual mobility chairs which can be adapted to suit any user requirement. They have a wide range of standard features and a plethora of optional extras to create a bespoke chair designed around you. Our mobility chair assessment enables us to assess and determine exactly which model and features you require. Our range of mobility chairs include models designed for use indoors and outdoors, enabling us to assess you for your mobility chair needs in any environment and location.

What happens before, during and after my Mobility Chair Assessment?

Once your mobility chair assessment is ordered, we will contact you to book a date and time for the assessment which is convenient for you. We will also ask for some background information on your disability and requirements to enable us to determine whether a powered or manual chair is required.

On the day of the assessment, we will visit you at the location of your choosing (ideally the location the chair will be used at) to discuss your disabilities and needs in greater depth. We will assess and discuss the environment the chair shall be used in and also bring a model of one of our mobility chairs with us. This assists us in establishing which features and final specification of chair is required and also gives you a chance to test the chair prior to purchase.

Following the Mobility Chair Assessment, we shall provide a detailed report which explains and justifies the chair recommended and includes a quotation for the chair required.

For all delivery only stock orders, we aim to deliver the goods within the timeframe outlined within the product page. Not all products shown on the website are held in stock or can be sent via courier ie desktops and therefore the delivery time of these goods may vary. We will keep you updated regularly with estimated delivery times on these goods.

BOXED DELIVERY CHARGES

Delivery charges below are for UK mainland only orders. For all other destinations please contact us for a quote or proceed to the checkout and enter your delivery information.

Accessories ordered on their own are charged at £5 + VAT per delivery - this offer is only available for internet orders. All orders including a boxed chair or desk (No Setup) are charged at £15 + VAT per order

If you order a Chair and a Desk together then only one £60 charge will apply.

RETURNS

We offer a two week trial period on the majority of products (exclusions do apply ie Software, Headsets etc) which starts from the day you receive your item(s). If you wish to return an item then simply email us at office@backcs.co.uk so we can provide a returns note and number. Upon receipt of the returned items we will issue a full refund excluding any outward delivery charges. Please contact us if you are unsure whether your item would be available on this two weeks return period.

Goods and packaging must be in their original condition and returned within business hours, carriage paid with the returns note enclosed.

If you are returning an item due to a fault or damage then please contact us and we will arrange for the collection of the item(s).
