Our Custom-Fit chair assessment has been created to provide a solution to individuals' with more severe musculoskeletal disabilities such as spina bifida, lordosis, kyphosis or scoliosis. The Custom-Fit assessment is designed to create a bespoke back rest and / or seat which is specifically made to your requirements and physique. The back rest and / or seat are sculpted around you to provide comfort and support exactly where it is required. At the Custom-Fit assessment, varying densities of foam and wedges are used to create a seating solution which is perfect for you

Why would we need a Custom-Fit Chair Assessment?

All of the chairs which we sell are designed to provide greater levels of comfort and optimum support in the tasks that an individual uses them. However, with more severe postural problems and disabilities, enhanced levels of support are required. Our custom-fit chairs provide this through a bespoke back rest and / or seat which is built around the end user's exact requirements. This delivers unrivaled comfort and exceptional support to any user.

What happens before, during and after my Custom-Fit Chair Assessment?

Once your custom-fit chair assessment is ordered, we, or the chair manufacturer, will contact you to book a date and time for the assessment which is convenient for you. We will also ask for some background information on your height, weight and requirements to enable us to determine which model of chair you require for us to use at the assessment. Please note it is the chair manufacturer that will conduct the custom-fit chair assessment to ensure accuracy when creating the finished product.

On the day of the assessment, the chair manufacturer will visit you at the location of your choosing (ideally the location the chair will be used at) to complete the custom-fit chair assessment. They will bring a chair with them and varying back rest and seat sizes to initially get a base model which is ergonomically best suited to you. The back rest and seats used are made of velcro and then varying densities and shapes of foam are added to this to build a 3D back rest and / or seat which fully supports you.

Following the Custom-Fit Chair Assessment, we shall provide a quotation for the chair required. Please note that there is a set price of £350 + VAT for a custom-fit back rest and £120 + VAT for a custom fit seat regardless of the amount of support required. Upon ordering the custom-fit chair, the manufacturer will re-produce the chair created at the assessment and upholster to create a standardised look.

Delivery Information

For all delivery only stock orders, we aim to deliver the goods within 4 working days. Not all products shown on the website are held in stock or can be sent via courier ie desktops and therefore the delivery time of these goods may vary. We will keep you updated regularly with estimated delivery times on these goods.


Delivery charges below are for UK mainland only orders. For all other destinations please contact us for a quote or proceed to the checkout and enter your delivery information.

Accessories ordered on their own are charged at £5 + VAT per delivery - this offer is only available for internet orders. All orders including a boxed chair or desk (No Setup) are charged at £15 + VAT per order

If you order a Chair and a Desk together then only one £60 charge will apply.


We offer a two week trial period on the majority of products (exclusions do apply ie Software, Headsets etc) which starts from the day you receive your item(s). If you wish to return an item then simply email us at so we can provide a returns note and number. Upon receipt of the returned items we will issue a full refund excluding any outward delivery charges. Please contact us if you are unsure whether your item would be available on this two weeks return period.

Goods and packaging must be in their original condition and returned within business hours, carriage paid with the returns note enclosed.

If you are returning an item due to a fault or damage then please contact us and we will arrange for the collection of the item(s).
