In 1994, Jack Lo designed the first mouse which supported the hand in a fully upright position to alleviate discomfort he was getting from his conventional mouse. He tried to license the product with several large companies, including Microsoft, but with no luck. A more developed product was exhibited in Las Vegas in 2001 and received large public support, encouraging Lo to manufacture and distribute the product himself. In 2004 the first Evoluent mouse was released, with regularly improved versions released since.
Various models of Evoluent mice are now available for both computer and Mac use, as well as wired and wireless versions. Evoluent mice are one of our best-selling products given the unique design and the benefits in both the prevention and management of conditions such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and RSI (Repetitive Strain Injuries).
