Maltron Dual Hand Fully Ergonomic Keyboard Product Details
Maltron Dual Hand Fully Ergonomic Keyboard is designed to minimise the movement and tension in your fingers and hands when you are typing. In this way, it can not only prevent the onset of RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) symptoms but is an aid to RSI relief and even recovery from RSI pain.
The keyboard has a split design which eliminates wrist twist and provides a central number and function key cluster. These central keys can be used by your right or left hand as preferred.
Tilted keys and pads minimise wrist pronation to further reduce muscle tension. Straight vertical key columns eliminate tens of thousands of finger and wrist twists in a day's work.
Thumb keys for Space, Return, Delete, Backspace and Cursor keys reduce hand and arm movement. Versatile thumbs are used far more effectively.
Built-in large palm resting pads allow immediate hand and arm relaxation during thinking time and promote a reduction in arm rotation.
If you spend a large amount of your day using a computer you will invariably use a keyboard to fulfil your duties. Prolonged typing work can be strenuous and lead to discomfort and injury if an ergonomic keyboard is not utilised. Ergonomic split keyboards are designed to adapt to the natural posture of your hands, arms and shoulders so you can work with good posture. The keyboard is split down the middle and in some instances is concaved or can be angled to achieve the best possible ergonomic position.
The split and angled design avoid wrist pronation and twisting of the hands in order to align with the keyboard. Keys offer low-impact typing and layouts are optimised with function keys positioned for minimal movement. These ergonomic features allow you to focus and work more productively, protected from strain. Ultimately, a policy of using ergonomic keyboards reduces absenteeism, which not only provides financial benefits but also brings greater quality of life.
