Aeris were founded in 1996 by Josef Glockl in Germany and have since produced award winning chairs for use in both the home and work environments.
Aeris design and manufacture chairs which are focused on increasing human movement while they sit and work. Sitting for too long without movement creates muscular tension which leads to injury and pain. Aeris chairs encourage greater movement through their 3D active chairs. Aeris do not include arm rests on any of their chairs to ensure maximum movement is enabled.
Aeris' most popular chair is the Swopper stool which allows movement in all directions. The Swopper stool has optional seat heights which make them an ideal option with sit-stand desks to maximise movement and productivity at work.
